I'm an Indonesian. I am a minister of the Indonesia Christian Church widely known as GKI (Gereja Kristen Indonesia). I obtained my Bachelor of Divinity degree from the Jakarta Theological Seminary (Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Jakarta) and my Master of Theology from the SEAGST (South East Asia Graduate School of Theology), majoring in Christian Education. Both institutions are located in Jakarta - Indonesia.
My experience includes: general secretary of the GKI West Java Synod, general
manager of a mission radio broadcasting service in Jakarta (Radio Pelita Kasih FM 96,3). I think those are wonderful ministries.
I am married. My wife, Indriani K. Sumadikarya, is a general practitioner. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical Faculty of UKRIDA (Krida Wacana Christian University), and her Master of Science degree from the Medical Faculty of University of Indonesia. She now has her own practice, besides dedicating herself by teaching in UKRIDA.
We have two children, the elder, Adelin Anastasha, has just started her studies in the Medical Faculty of UKRIDA, while the younger, Yonas Aristo(teles!), is still in senior high school.
If you're a member of GKI, I'm glad to inform you that on May 25, 1996, the
Indonesian Ecumenical Day, based on the Anniversary of the Communion of Churches
in Indonesia (PGI), I have launched CyberGKI the homepage of GKI.
You will find many interesting things in there, please come :)
Now you can find here the three oldest Ecumenical Creeds:
I have also included the Church Order of GKI West Java Area Synod, and if
you wish to see this Church Order or Tata Gereja, you can
click the link right away.
If you want to copy or to save it, please change the extension .html to .txt so
you won't be bothered by the various html codes.
Suppose you need the Tata
Tertib, you can download it in compressed form, and extract it later with PKUNZIPŠ.
And Tata Laksana is
available in self-extracting (.exe).
The Church Order of GKI General Synod will be available later.
Read also an article from our Journal of Theology and Church PENUNTUN About the Holy Land (in Bahasa Indonesia). See by yourself beauty of the Dome and
the Dead Sea. Please hurry , as the page will not be available for long.
Where is Indonesia anyway?
If you focus your eyes to the
center of the map here on the left, you will find an archipelago between two continents,
Asia and Australia, there are about 17500 islands wherein more than 200 million people
live. It is the fourth most populous country in the world, after China, India, and United
States. That is Indonesia , the big melting-pot of religious and ethnic groups.
Now my guestbook is waiting for you!
